Federal Skilled workers and Professional are people who are selected as permanent residents based on their ability to become economically established in Canada.
To be eligible to apply, you must:
Have work experience in one or more occupations listed in the National Occupation Classifications (NOC ) matrix at Skill Type 0 (management occupations), Skill Level A (professional occupations), or Skill Level B (technical occupations and skilled trades).
OR
Have a valid offer of arranged employment with a full time permanent job off from a Canadian Employer
Federal Skilled Worker applications received by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, must be accompanied by the results of the principal applicant’s English or French language proficiency assessment. Principal Applicant must have a minimums score of 6 in all abilities of the IELTS.
Work experience requirements
Your work experience must be:
for at least one year, continuous, and paid (full-time or the equivalent in part-time), AND
Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) list, AND
within the last 10 years.
The Federal Skilled Worker & Professional applicants must attain at least 67 points based on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s immigration selection factors.
